Your Right to Privacy
Any regular visitor to Eye of Vigilance knows of our longstanding commitment to supporting and defending the Constitution for these united States. We have a deep and abiding respect for the Rule of Law — and your personal privacy.
As part of the community of responsible citizen journalism, EoV has published scores of articles exposing policies and practices that undermine or violate outright the Fourth Amendment’s original intent.
We firmly oppose any individuals within the private sector or government that infringe upon our Constitutionally guaranteed natural rights, including the Right of the People to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizure.
In our view, this includes exploiting your personal digital information for any reason.
For the Record:
We do not mine or sell personal data. Never have, never will. Full stop.
We do not possess any financial information.
We do not sell advertising space or merchandise.
We do not solicit donations or accept gifts.
We do not send personal or bulk emails to our subscribers.
We may respond to your email when contact is initiated by you (maybe).
The EoV feed you receive in your email is solely between you and the subscription service with which you registered.
We once employed a Traffic Widget to count unique visitors and page views. Part of the readout included IP addresses to understand where in the world EoV had an audience.
Many years ago, after traffic had surpassed 100,000 monthly visits, the plug-in was deactivated and data deleted to save on bandwidth.
